Out of the Darkness Foundation

Supporting families navigating suicide loss through compassion, connection, and hope.

After losing her son Jacob to suicide, founder Angie Lewandowski created the Out of the Darkness Foundation to ensure no family walks through grief alone.

Through programs like Boxes of Hope, the foundation provides comfort resources and support to families during the most difficult moments of grief.

Together we can bring hope out of the darkness.

You Are Not Alone

Losing someone to suicide can feel isolating and overwhelming. The Out of the Darkness Foundation exists to remind families that they are not alone. Through compassion, connection, and meaningful support, we help families navigate grief and find hope again.

Boxes of Hope

Boxes of Hope are care packages created for families who have lost a loved one to suicide. Each box contains comforting resources, messages of support, and items meant to remind grieving families that their loved one is remembered and that support exists even in the darkest moments.
